Design
One would think that with a name like Design Media Pros that we are all about “design.” However, that is not actually the case!
In our opinion, to be all about design would mean that we are more concerned with the look of the product we create than we are with the functionality. This is not our philosophy! First and foremost, our intent is to create something that will serve the need of the client.
We recognize that design is a critical part of making your web site, promotional item, brochure, newsletter, or flier appealing and therefore something that people will pay attention to. But we also believe firmly that issues like your material being easy to use or follow, comfortable, simple yet complete, etc. are factors that we very much take into consideration when in the creative process.
The goal is to bring you a product that enhances your business or operation (not ours). We don’t focus on what will bring attention to the work we did, but instead seek to create what will bring you attention and success.
Because of this philosophy, we have been known to talk a potential client out of an approach that would have made us more money, but would not have been a wise use of the clients funds. For example, we frequently discourage clients from wanting flashy front pages for their web sites, when we know that the “flash’ will not only do nothing to help bring a client into the site, it will also reduce the success of the site when trying to improve the search engine support it gets. These types of pages are expensive to create, so we could easily charge more if we built them, but that is not our goal. Our primary concern in all that we do is to create product that serves the client as much as possible.
In basic terms, our design approach is to be clean, elegant, and easy to navigate.
